barber is not twice the back juice is, he didnt get any carries last year, and he left, which was a smart move IMO

how many TDs did barber have when juice ran the ball down inside the ten? thats not right at all
I wanted to see him do well esp since he is from this area. To me he just doesn't run with enough heart. Choice, Barber, Felix have all ran better than Julius did last year.
Plus I like the sound of Dallas' backfield this year - Barber III and Jones Part II.
How did Dallas do him wrong?
I think Barber is a lot better back then JJ, with Barbers smash-mouth type of running..he cold have drove he down the field like Julius did.
choice has had less than 50 carries this year, how can you possibly say that?
he isnt a very good inside the tackles runner, but the dallas offense wasnt as talented overall when he was there as it is now.

Barber blocks better, catches out of the backfield better, runs with more authority, plays with more heart....He's just an all around better back. Julius flopped over and played dead upon first contact last year. He should have been spelling Barber instead of the other way around.

The dallas offense is pretty much the same as it was last year with the exception of Roy and Bennet, which doesn't factor much in the running game.
In the carries Choice has had this year he has shown more than Julius did all of last year.
JJ was the starter, yet he would not get 1/2 the carries barber got, he never got the chance to run the ball inside the ten.

i agree that maybe juice should have been backing up barber, but you guys are making him out to be a bum, and thats simply not true.

romo is getting better with experience, roy williams is a dynamic receiver, etc...
how can you say youve seen more from choice already, when he hasnt ran for any significant gains at all this year?
im not downing your cowboys, but dont act like JJ wasnt a good contributor for them.
I watched every game Julius ever played in Dallas. I have his jersey framed and hanging on my walls. I liked the guy alot.
But if you were a coach who would you run inside the ten - Barber or Julius?
I went to Dallas and wore my Jones jersey, and lots of the fans there had something to say about it. They didn't like him there. He just didn't run hard.
if a runner got me 70 yards on a drive, he deserves at least a shot to get it in the end zone.
